This allows your information to be automatically sent to the TSA when you’re logged in to your account for booking reservations of both domestic and international flights like Chicago to Delhi flights. Make sure you enter your PreCheck number while booking your next flights with Southwest Airlines. You can update your KTN or PreCheck number to the Southwest Rapid Rewards member profile or at the official website of the airline.
After you have chosen your flight dates and times, you will enter your name in the “Who’s Flying?” section. Then, click on the button “Secure Traveler Information” and enter your PreCheck or Known Traveler Number in the “Known Traveler #” field. It will make sure that your KTN or PreCheck number will be added along with your information to TSA’s secure flight system for further processing.

Make sure you print your boarding pass only after successfully updating your PreCheck or KTN number. It is because if your boarding pass doesn’t contain the TSA Pre stamp then you won’t be able to use the special TSA security lanes at the airport.
Look above your printed name on the boarding pass, directly beneath where ‘Southwest Airlines’ is printed. You should see ‘TSA PRE’ printed on your ticket. And, on a mobile boarding pass, you should see ‘TSA Pre’ along with a green checkmark in the top right corner of the QR code.
A: Once you confirm the price of your flight, the Southwest website will redirect you to the ‘Purchase’ page, which has ‘Enter Traveler Information’ and ‘Who Flying’ as headers on the page. Enter your full name and date of birth in the provided fields and list your KTN number in the ‘Known Traveler #’ field. You can update the number on the Southwest Rapid Rewards member profile.
A: If your information is even slightly different from your TSA PreCheck or TSA Global Entry Registration, the PreCheck label would not show up on your boarding pass. And, maybe you have entered your KTN number in the wrong field. So, always fill in your information carefully.
