Why Is January 22 Selected For The Inauguration?

Pausha Hindu Month

The sacred Ram Mandir inauguration takes place in the Pausha Hindu month, the tenth month of the Hindu lunar calendar, renowned for its high auspiciousness in Hindu traditions. This month carries particular importance with numerous religious, cultural, and spiritual events, including the Kumbh Mela and the Mahakumbh, being organized during this period.

Makar Sankranti and Uttarayana

January 22 falls after the Makar Sankranti, a significant Hindu festival signifying the Sun’s transition into Capricorn (Makar). Uttarayana, the ensuing period, symbolizes auspiciousness, growth, and fresh starts. It is an opportune time for undertaking significant endeavors, such as the inauguration of the Ram Mandir.

Significance of Numbers

The day number, corresponding to the date, is 22. In numerology, 22 is known as the “Master Builder” or “Master Teacher,” symbolizing the power to transform dreams into reality and manifest ideas on a grand scale. Individuals linked to the number 22 are believed to possess a strong sense of purpose and the ability to bring positive change to the world. Additionally, the total sum of the date (22 + 1 + 2024) is 31, further reduced to 4 (3 + 1). Number 4 is associated with stability, practicality, and the establishment of strong foundations. It signifies hard work, diligence, and the achievement of goals through disciplined efforts.

Distinguished Guests

The event will be honored by the presence of Prime Minister Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, revered Sarsanghchalak, UP Governor Anandiben Patel, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, and other dignitaries. Former and current Indian cricketers, including Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, and more, have also received invitations.

Renowned Bollywood personalities, such as Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Madhuri Dixit, Anupam Kher, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Prabhas and more are expected to grace the ceremony.

A special invitation has been extended to veteran actor Arun Govil, who portrayed the role of Lord Ram in Ramanand Sagar’s acclaimed TV series Ramayan, for the consecration ceremony.

Gifts Arrive Ayodhya

Individuals from various states are consistently arriving with symbolic presents like water, soil, gold, silver, gems, clothing, jewelry, large bells, drums, and aromatic items.

Of particular significance are the substantial gifts, including Bhaars (gifts presented during the establishment of a daughter’s household), dispatched from Maa Janaki’s maternal residences in Janakpur, Nepal, and Sitamarhi, Bihar.
